🌡️ Temperature Think warm. Expect to see warmer-than-normal temperatures across much of the US, with the exception of the Midwest.
The predicted continuation of La Niña conditions plays a large role in the expected hotter-than-average June-August for the US.
In Asheville, temperatures are expected to be an average of 72.3ºF through at least July. There’s a 58% chance for clear or partly cloudy skies. Usually, Asheville averages highs of 79°F in June, 81.5°F in July, and 80.9° in August. 🌨️ Precipitation
Keep your umbrella nearby. There’s an equal chance that rain will trend normally through July. Usually, Asheville averages 3.9 inches of rain in June, 4.2 inches in July, and 4.3 in August. 🌀 Hurricanes The Atlantic hurricane season began Wed., June 1, and it's predicted to be a season with slightly above-average activity.

Mission Health — which is already working on five other WNC expansion projects — is planning to expand its Buncombe County hospital by adding 67 new acute care beds. The decision requires approval by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation, which is also considering two Florida-based and Winston-Salem-based competitors. (Asheville Citizen-Times)

Asheville School of Wine at Metro Wines has announced the launch of new wine courses + globally recognized wine credential programs for both industry professionals and wine enthusiasts.
