Neomi Negron, owner and founder of Buggy Pops, doesn’t believe in having a plan. She places her bet instead on a strong work ethic paired with the inscrutable guidance of her internal compass. It’s what she credits for driving her to become a proud jack-of-all trades, yet a master of none - she follows her heart to where the next chapter takes her. As a proud owner of a small BIPOC woman-owned gourmet ice pop business in Asheville, her days are now filled with large catering orders, sharing the stage with culinary big hitters, and being tapped for ongoing collaborations with local favorites. It’s been a whirlwind and Neomi wakes up each day humble and grateful for all that she has experienced through Buggy Pops. It especially has allowed her one big gift she never thought possible, the ability to use her work to give back and lift up others.
